Name development, identity, brochure, signage and event planning
To build the City’s brand by promoting its prominent agri-food and life science cluster, and the effect it has on research and development, business development, and tourism focused around Guelph and Wellington County.
We invited desired community partners to attend a creative brainstorming session and buy into the concept of new ways to bring attention to the City’s strengths. We developed a creative brief for the Grow Guelph branding, and submitted it to industry leaders for suggestions and approval. Because industry partners joined in the creative process, we were able to build partnerships without the need for formal sales sheets or advertising. GJA created a name, tagline and branding together with input from the various community partners like the University of Guelph, the City of Guelph and Wellington County.
We then extended the brand to a complete trade show exhibit that could be adapted to all indoor and outdoor trade show environments.
The travelling exhibit had a 100% participation rate from the invited companies, and a waiting list was created for other companies interested in future exhibitions.
